Job Description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring an Electrician in Roseville, MN. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Job Type : Contract

Pay : $20 to $35 per hour, DOE

Licenses / Certifications Required :

Responsibilities :

Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in commercial electrical installations, supported by an apprenticeship or equivalent background.

Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand tools.

Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards

Reliable Transportation

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and / or reach out for prolonged periods of time

Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination

Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.

Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.

Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions

Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes

Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises

Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.

Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency : A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $20 to $35 per hour. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
