ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST II
VANCE, AL – TUSCALOOSA PLANT
As a member of the Finance team, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the following items for their assigned plant locations. Reviewing accounts payable and intercompany transactions, assisting with Month-End close, providing accurate information that will be used to forecast and budget financials.

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST II
VANCE, AL – TUSCALOOSA PLANT
As a member of the Finance team, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the following items for their assigned plant locations. Reviewing accounts payable and intercompany transactions, assisting with Month-End close, providing accurate information that will be used to forecast and budget financials.
The Role
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Completing all invoicing for your assigned locations daily
- Analyzing supplier payment discrepancies and resolving outstanding issues
- Reviewing prepaid accounts and calculating correct adjustments
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts at the end of the month
- Accruing for goods received and not invoiced as well as recurring services
- Working closely with the assistant plant controller for development of new skills
- Career advancement opportunities
- Exposure to multiple functional areas in different plant locations
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Excel Knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- SAP knowledge
