ENGINEERING MANAGER
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI
As a member of the Leadership team, the Engineering Manager will be responsible foroverseeing the engineering aspects, project management, process improvement, and safety compliance of a manufacturing plant.
The Role :
Your work will include, but not be limited to :
- Manage and coordinate all engineering activities within the plant, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead engineering projects, including the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Develop and manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Work closely with other departments, such as production, procurement, and quality assurance, to coordinate efforts and achieve plant objectives.
