We need resource who has understanding/expertise on working with the low level layer of AR SDKs.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C , Python, or JavaScript
Qualification : PhD with 1 or 2 Years Exp.
Need Ph.D candidates
Develop a sensor access software component leveraging the SDK provided by AR glasses to access various sensor outputs.
Collaborate with the team to develop software capability to access vehicle dynamics via onboard sensor outputs (e.g., GPS, body pitch).
Implement both mainstream approaches for streaming 3D content over the network:
1. Preprocess 3D content to reduce throughput requirements and stream the processed content.
2. Re-generate multiple 2D scenes of the 3D scene at a certain time instant and stream the 2D scenes.
Develop a software system that works with AR glasses to demonstrate the system's capability of ingesting content from either form.
Develop a MR content service that runs on edge or cloud infrastructure to support both approaches.
Attend project design meetings hosted by the team and proactively report findings on a monthly basis.
Create detailed documentation and source code for the developed systems.
Prefered Qualification
Experience with GPS, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and other relevant sensors.
Previous experience in automotive or connected vehicle projects.
Familiarity with GM's internal processes and tools.
