What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater Teacher Assistant Early Childhood Center position at Learn & Discover Playschool?
We are looking for floater teacher assistant to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. As a floater your responsibilities will include stepping into classrooms to cover for absent staff and carrying out lesson plans, helping out in kitchen serving meals, keeping the school building organized throughout the day and helping out at pickup and dismissal to ensure smooth and safe transition for all children. Work hours 8:45am thru 3:15 pm Monday thru Friday
Floater Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Clear criminal record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Warm, approachable disposition.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- A passion for early childhood development.
