We are looking for a nurturing infant teacher to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. As an infant teacher, you will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times. You should also be an excellent role model for our students.
To be successful as a infant teacher, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression. Top candidates will possess a thorough understanding of the contextual factors that shape early childhood development.
Infant Teacher Responsibilities :
Infant Teacher Requirements :
1) Associate's (AA or AS) degree in early childhood education; or
2) Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years; or
3) High school diploma or equivalent (GED); nine college credits in early childhood education or child development; two years experience caring for children, and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years; or
4) High school diploma or equivalent (GED); and a study plan that is acceptable to the Department leading to nine credits in early childhood education or childhood development within two years; and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years, if currently employed in a permitted child care program.
