LEARN has an opening for an energetic Intervention Specialist at the Connecticut River Academy in East Hartford. This high school features a collaborative teaching model, block scheduling, hands-on learning and multiple connections to Goodwin University. This paraprofessional position will support the educational and behavioral development of Special Education students with complex needs, working with a dedicated classroom team to provide instructional support, student monitoring and data collection. Bilingual preferred. CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. Training in Safety Care techniques provided. Full time position, based on school calendar.
Qualifications: Level 1: Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma and hold Parapro certification. Experience working with students with Special Education needs preferred.
