Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor's degree is must needs to be within 10 years total experience. Please share lab technician with S/W experience. Kindly do not share IT Administrator CVs.
- 4 years of experience with Networking basics (more on usage) ability to use tools to resolve/troubleshoot networking issues (nslookup, ping, tracert, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining telecommunications equipment and/or network environment.
- Willingness to understand the details of how the full inflight system works (Devices, WAPs, ACPU, Network Equipment)
- Good knowledge and experience of CompTIA A or CompTIA Network or CCNA equivalent skills"
- Process oriented, attention to details, excellent verbal and written communication and relational skills to communicate with our internal customers and report issues clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
- Proficiency with testing of complex systems and good understanding of Agile/SAFe software development methodology.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows and Unix systems, JIRA, MS Office suite (Excel).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide technical support related to hardware failures, software configuration, network connectivity, laptop applications and track resolution and document root cause of issues (JIRA tickets).
- Manage the physical lab set up, which includes organizing, audit and cataloguing, equipment inventory tracking to ensure high productivity of software lab benches for the engineering teams.
- Maintain connections with different development groups to identify upcoming new technologies that will require test equipment.
- Identify and manage lab update projects to enable testing on new technologies and foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain test lab equipment health by conducting periodic health checks, finding issues, and resolving them in timely fashion.
- Regularly update asset management tools to ensure availability of test equipment and spare parts. When necessary, you will issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Purchase Requisitions (PQs), Parts Requisition Forms, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and keep track of Purchase Orders, parts delivery, and returns.
- Identify and recommend creative ways to enhance existing practices, propose and implement improvement ideas (process, hardware configurations, automation, etc.). Participate in the Continuous Improvement initiatives of the Lab Management Team.
- Provide technical know-how, documentation, and training to software testing team and other business functions.
- Monitor and track the tickets reported through ticket management tool (JIRA)
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and processes to maintain test bench documentation.
- Collaborate with testers to report root causes for the issues identified.
- Manage Lab Improvement projects.
- Attend Lab management related meetings.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
