Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Daycare Lead Teacher to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in ECE, or
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or
- At least 90 college credits toward a B.A. in a related field,
- BA in any field with enrollment in MA ECE program.
- At least 1 year of classroom experience working with children ages 2-3 years old.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in computer usage.
- Must be articulate, reliable, and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports child growth and development.
- Create and implement lesson plans based on a Theme-based Curriculum that is engaging and developmentally appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe classroom environment, adhering to all relevant procedures and guidelines.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with both parents and children, ensuring open communication regarding child development and progress.
- Complete student observations and assessments, tracking developmental milestones and providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
Additional support and training will be provided.
