What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Learning Center of Northeast Arkansas?
General Summary :
Physical Therapists will provide help to those who have lost or have not been able to develop motor and / or sensory functions that allow them to participate in everyday life activities. Help in determining the root cause of delay or atypical movement or behavior and develop a plan with the family and other health care providers that with various forms of treatment including NDT, sensory stimulation, therapies, strengthening, balance and bracing recommendations help the participant to achieve their maximum potential.
Essential Job Functions :
Will evaluate and conduct therapy with qualified program participants.
- Will provide appropriate therapy goals / objectives for each program participant as assigned by the Therapy Supervisor.
- Will collaborate with appropriate staff to develop and implement objectives for each child to insure continuity of programming and / or plan of care.
- Will attend trainings, conferences, meetings and center activities as determined necessary by the Director of Services and / or Therapy Supervisor.
- Will update / maintain all required information / reports as needed to comply with due process, DDS policies, funding sources, and center procedures.
- Will maintain protection of client privacy regarding any information maintained by the organization regarding services and / or operations. Will access only client information needed for the implementation of activities required for this position.

Will collaborate with appropriate staff to develop and implement objectives for each child to insure continuity of programming.
Ø Community Based Therapists
Will provide weekly therapy schedule to Children’s Services Program Coordinator.
