This is a unique, long term temp position to cover a medical leave.
L.E.A.P.’s Admin. Assistant/ C&FS Intake Specialist is directly responsible to the Executive Director and Career and Family Services Program Director. The Admin. Assistant/ C&FS Intake Specialist is mainly responsible for reception duties in the program suite as well as responsible for various clerical activities and acting as a team member to assure that the office runs in a smooth, positive manner. Typical work activities will include but not be limited to the following:
1. Phone and Office coverage as scheduled and required.
2. Compilation and maintenance of reports, required documents and information as assigned by the Career and Family Services Director or designee.
3. Coordinates program purchasing and inventory; including acceptance of food pantry deliveries.
4. Prepares Purchase Orders for all C&FS and Administrative invoices/expenses and collaborates with Fiscal to ensure timely entry into the Fund EZ accounting software
5. Copying, collating, mailings, filing, etc. as required for the Agency and assigned by the Career and Family Services Director and/or Executive Director.
6. Recording secretary for board of director’s meetings; responsible for compilation and distribution of monthly board meeting minutes.
7. Perform administrative and/or technical tasks to support program needs as assigned by the supervisor.
8. Assist the Program Director in preparation of grant applications, funding packages, proposals and license renewals.
9. Draft agency correspondence at the request of the Program Director and/or Executive Director.
10. Ensure all necessary procedures and documentation are complete upon employee new hire, termination and resignation.
11. Attend meetings and all appropriate trainings, some of which may be out-of-county travel
and evening/overnight attendance as requested by the Career and Family Services Program
Director or designee.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Clerical, Organizational, Communication and People skills.
3. Valid New York State Driver’s license.
4. An understanding and knowledge of the workings of a non-profit agency.
5. 50 wpm with accuracy
6. Attention to detail.
7. Proven Microsoft Office software skills.
8. Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
9. Ability to multitask.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.63 per hour
