Job Requirements

Education & Certification:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, or progress toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, is preferred.
- Completion of a State Approved Orientation for Child Care Providers, with daily implementation supported by the Director/Assistant Director.
- Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience working with young children, demonstrating effective classroom management using positive redirection, problem solving, setting appropriate limits, and active listening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding program details.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 20 pounds.
