SUMMER WORK! Join our Team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Learning Opportunities Quality Works! We are looking for someone to fill a part time position working approximately 20 hours a week during the summer.

Our mission is to positively impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through Support, Advocacy, and Connection to Resources.
Essential Functions:
As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with IDD, helping them lead independent, fulfilling lives. Your role may include:
- Provide on-the-job support / coaching to employees with disabilities in assisting with developing their skills to maintain competitive employment.
- Encouraging and supporting social and community engagement.
- Promoting independence and skill-building in a respectful and empowering manner.
- Advocating for individuals’ rights, choices, and well-being.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required with work experience, prefer 4 year degree from accredited college
- Must have a current valid driver's license
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and maintain it safely to transport people in the community.
- Ability to pass all appropriate and required background screenings
- Ability to use technology to complete required documentation
- A caring and patient individual with a passion for helping others
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
