Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Behavior analysis focuses on the principles that explain how learning takes place. Positive reinforcement is one such principle. When a behavior is followed by some sort of reward, the behavior is more likely to be repeated. Through decades of research, the field of behavior analysis has developed many techniques for increasing useful behaviors and reducing those that may cause harm or interfere with learning.

Company Description: Learning Solutions Kids offers custom-built programs for each child’s learning needs. Our range of services caters to children with a variety of diagnoses. Our programs range from in-home, clinical, and school based programs.

Job Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour dependent on experience, credentialing, and education

Required Availability: Monday- Friday 8:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm

(Part time also available)

Job Description:

· Work 1:1 with patients on behavior reductions, social skills, and individual learning plans

· Record data for each patient

· Communicate with team

· Follow behavior plan to help deescalate any behaviors

Applicants should:

· Be enthusiastic and Motivated to work with kids

· Be Patient, empathetic and have a passion for helping others

· Be professional with a growth mindset (huge growth potential within the company)

· Have Ability to communicate effectively is an essential component to this position

· Have Flexibility and Adaptability as everyday will be unique and will present its own challenges

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Must be willing to travel to different locations (up to 50 miles throughout day) for position

· Have valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and reliable means of transportation.

· Individuals must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week.

· Pass Live scan background check with the DOJ and FBI

· Negative TB test within the last 4 years. Current immunization for MMR, Tdap, Varicella and Hep B.

· Pass a physical exam.

Drive time paid at minimum wage and mileage reimbursement at .625 cent/per mile after minimum requirement at start and end of your day.
