We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Observe children's behavior and development, documenting progress and addressing any concerns with parents or guardians.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the daycare.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education, including special education needs when applicable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred.
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to provide infant care, including knowledge of feeding schedules and diapering techniques.
- Experience in babysitting or toddler care is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate children and interact with parents or guardians.
- Strong behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment.
