We welcome children aged 0-5 to the preschool program and offer after-school programs for ages 5-12. Operating from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, we provide a comprehensive schedule to accommodate busy families and offer nutritious meals to support healthy development.
Position: Lead Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards and developmental needs
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students
- Supervise students, providing focused attention and caring service
- Evaluate student progress
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student needs and goals
- Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum
- Organize activities appropriate for various ages to create a fun, playful, and safe environment
- Maintain a clean, orderly area
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with classroom management and children in an educational setting for at least a year
- Strong knowledge of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Must be patient, flexible, energetic, self-motivated, and creative
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must complete fingerprinting and background check
Preferred License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
