About You
You will be a champion and evangelist for Leasepath’s solutions and will guide both clients and internal stakeholders. You will be a technical project manager, adept at using MS Project to create project schedules and communicate clear expectations on deliverables. You will know how to use these tools to
forecast resource constraints across multiple projects and can allocate resource across projects to ensure delivery expectations are met. Even with all this going on, you manage to stay calm as you tactfully negotiate strong long-term relationships with our customers. You have extensive experience in customer facing projects and are comfortable with everyone from technical staff to the C suite business leaders. You like to cross over into the role of Account Manager when the situation requires it. Even so, this is still project management and that means competing priorities, difficult situations and a need to be consultative in finding solutions, which you have proven to handle with ease. You possess both critical and creative thinking, and passion for fast-paced problem solving. You love to have fun and are motivated to work on a fast-paced and innovative team, and you probably like some kind of competitive sport because you keep score and like to win for your customers.
The ideal candidate:
· Is a proven project manager, and runs a project plan just as well as an executive steering committee meeting
· Can manage business relationships with customers, acting as an account manager as needed
· Has experience in a software products company
· Has worked in the Asset Finance and Leasing industry
· Works with Business Analysts to define scope and estimate projects
· Writes Statements of Work, Project Charters and Weekly Project Status Reports
· Is truthful and direct in communications to customers while being tactful and consultative
· Brings energy and curiosity to help the entire team solve complex problems
Responsibilities:
The Leasepath Project Manager is a strategic position that crosses the Product, Professional Services and Account Management roles. The PM guides clients in the specification of requirements for their implementations, from project kickoff ceremonies through go-live celebrations and post-live support. The PM is responsible for synthesizing client implementation needs with product capabilities, and then developing clear plans to deliver. Other responsibilities envisioned are:
· Create PMO best practices and then constantly evolve and improve, achieving faster and more efficient implementations
· Lead communications with clients, from writing SOWs and Project Charters, to delivering clear weekly status reports and running client executive steering meetings. Handle the formal closure of SOWs.
· Ensure project estimates are accurate and then ensure the project stays within those guiderails of time and cost
· Control scope creep on projects by constantly monitoring work activities and new requests, and enforcing change control procedures as a means of communication, clarity and control on projects
· Identify project changes, risks and issues, and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve
· Create repeatable project delivery best practice templates to improve delivery clarity, communication, speed and quality
· Conduct project delivery presentations and obtain customer acceptance to our offerings through a thoughtful and consultative selling approach
· Manage multiple client engagements and work with associated team members from Leasepath, partners and customers
· Travels to client sites for project kickoff, delivery and go-live oversight
· Monthly Consulting invoicing (CEO to PM; CEO as reviewer)
· Admin on TekStack Delivery; would especially take over the charge-code process for projects and review if time is approved or not on given charge codes. Create projects and project tasks (charge codes). Police Officer for who can charge to codes; what rates are for given charge codes; etc.
· Admin on TekStack CRM; especially to update customer information and ensure TekStack is keeping up to date information on customer financials in the customer-dashboard for lifetime financials
· Perform Utilization analysis for consulting to determine if time is being allocated wisely.
· Enter QBO invoice information and send reminders alongside accounting.
· Provide a backup to our accounting capacity.
· Provide assistance with move to Business Central in 2023.
· Perform price sensitivity analysis on SOWs to determine what rate changes will do to gross and net margins.
· Work closely with Project Manager(s) in the administration of projects, specifically with hours by project phase and timesheet approval processes
Qualifications:
· Requires prior experience in high-level customer-facing project/program/account management role
· Must have experience with delivery of vendor software products to customers
· 5 years in a consulting role as a project manager, implementation consultant, solution architect, product manager, sales engineer or similar, working with cloud application design and delivery.
· Experience leading customer facing planning and discovery sessions (on location and remote) to conceptualize, document and deliver complex business solutions
· Excellent presentation and verbal skills with technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences
· BA/BS (preferably in technology, finance, or a related field) required
· Experience in an agile methodology is strongly desired
· Experience in the Asset Finance industry (incl. banking, financial institutions, equipment or auto captives, other commercial asset leasing/loan businesses) is a plus.
