What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logging Crewman position at Leatherstocking Timber Products, Inc.?
We have a need for hand loggers of all skill and experience levels.
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with felling, bucking, limbing and loading.
- Cleaning and repairing equipment and tools between jobs.
- Communicating with Crew Foreman, truck drivers and other contractors.
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Obtaining necessary certifications.
- Operating small and heavy equipment and tools as necessary.
- Wearing protective gear.
Employment Qualifications:
- Always puts safety first and takes direction.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Punctual, reliable and conscientious.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
This is a full time position that requires travel to job sites. It involves outdoor manual labor in all weather conditions. Pay dependent on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
