About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers who feel called to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide vital care and companionship, helping clients maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with kindness and respect.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a relationship of trust and care.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding (if needed), and light housekeeping to create a clean, nurturing environment.
- Support our clients in attending appointments and social engagements, enhancing their quality of life.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals and families.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- A heart for serving others and a desire to reflect Christ's love in your work
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required - training is available for those with the right heart and committment.
