Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter as a Family Administrator. This position works directly with funeral home staff, and directors in providing professionalism and excellence to and for our families. The successful candidates will :
- Become competent in different online systems that assist in the creation of content
- Ensure the accuracy of all information needed to complete important documentation for families
- Perform a variety of tasks including death certificate completion and filing
- Create, edit, print, and fold funeral folders
- Create, edit, and print funeral guest books
- Upload obituaries as needed
- Assist funeral directors in creating and/or editing obituaries
- Interact with our families concerning any special requests
- As needed, assist other members of the clerical team with help
- Able to problem-solve
- Able to switch between tasks for different families without error
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be proficient with computers, printing, and copy machines
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Compassion for families who are grieving
Physical Requirements
- Maintain physical agility to lift 50 lbs. with assistance
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
