The Insurance Agency Support Specialist will play a vital role in supporting our agency’s daily operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to launch their career in the insurance industry. With hands-on training and mentorship, you’ll have the opportunity to grow within the company and potentially progress into an Account Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to insurance agents and account managers, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent client service.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Prepare, process, and maintain accurate insurance documents, applications, and endorsements.
• Assist with billing, policy renewals, and claims processing as needed.
• Maintain organized client files and update agency management systems regularly.
• Schedule and coordinate client appointments and follow-up activities.
• Participate in training and development opportunities aimed at growing your expertise in insurance.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing agency growth and client satisfaction.
• Perform various administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
• Previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
