Leavitt Central Coast Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Benefits Account Executive for their busy offices in Salinas, CA. This is a hybrid work schedule with travel a few times a month.
In this position, you will be supporting the Producers in the administration, renewal, and service of client Benefit Plans. The position requires prior benefits account management experience and the ability to be customer facing, answer client’s questions about their benefits.
- Assist Benefit Producers with all renewals
- Review coverages, prepare employee communications
- Handle all benefit related client service and administration issues
- Present renewals
- Maintain positive relationships and excellent communication with clients.
- Serve as primary contact for all claims issues.
- Maintain good relations with carriers.
- Understand, manage and regularly visit client’s objectives
- Prepare and assist with and client presentations
- Oversee account information and document communication in agency management system
- Maintain paper & electronic files
- Answer client questions and help solve coverage related issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Additionally, you will support management of the current client base and new business activities
Required:
- Health & Life license required
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- College degree a plus
- 3 years employee benefits insurance or HR experience
- Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written and presentation skills
- Bilingual --Spanish /English a plus
