Summary
Leavitt Orthodontics, one of the leading orthodontic clinics in Southeast Idaho, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Job Duties
· Be a leader at the front desk in the way we care for patients
· Work with leadership team to create best practices for patient interaction, scheduling, and care
· Receive incoming phone calls
· Complete New Patient Call Sheets
· Schedule and/or reschedule appointments with patients
· Greet patients when they arrive in the office
· Check out patients when finished with treatment, and thank them before departing
· Respond to patient emails and texts
· Manage entire patient schedule, proactively rearranging appointments and filling voids
· Attend all staff meetings, front office meetings, and daily huddles
· Discuss and review treatment fees, payment plans, and financing options with patients and families.
· Assist with insurance verification and understanding benefit coverage.
· Support patients in understanding their financial responsibilities and coordinating payments.
· Review treatment plans with patients and explain the benefits and expectations of recommended treatments.
· Create positive and trusting relationships with patients and their families.
· Maintain ongoing communication and monitor patient satisfaction and address any concerns to ensure a positive experience.
· Review the day’s schedule to prepare for financial consultations.
· Support front desk operations during peak hours or staff absences.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Dental office experience preferred, especially experience with finances
· Experience creating and implementing processes and systems
· Experience leading others toward a common goal
· Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
· High energy, positive attitude, and the ability to instantly connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Docs
· Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
Wage and Benefits
· $18 - $22/hr. DOE

· Tuesday – Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
· Every other Monday and Friday

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
