Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Utilize Prolog and HeavyBid for project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all maintenance work meets industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the construction site.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Prolog, HeavyBid, Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
- Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to manage project costs effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required based on job site locations.
