Job Overview: The Lebanon School District seeks a dynamic Director of Communication and Community Relations. The Director of Communication and Community Relations promotes positive public relations between the school district and community.
Key Job Goals: • Prepare and provide information to the public about the school district’s activities, goals, and policies. Distribute pertinent information about the district and its activities to all stakeholders. • Establish and maintain internal and external communication programs that promote an understanding and appreciation of the district’s efforts to provide students with positive learning outcomes. • To serve as the District’s liaison with employees regarding school district news, employee recognition, and wellness.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field. • Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and collaboration. • Familiarity with new and emerging media and their use. • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all constituents. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. • Effectively interacts with a diverse student and faculty population.
