What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Associate position at Lebanon Shops Pharmacy?
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and acknowledge customers promptly, offering courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Accurately perform clerk duties and finalize sales using a cash register – handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory management tasks
- Assist with price changes for merchandise on the shelves and merchandise turnovers.
- Build and maintain displays of merchandise, including seasonal items and live plants.
- Maintain whole-store cleanliness and organization in coordination with your team members.
- Assist front-counter and pharmacy team members with tasks to ensure all departments run smoothly and efficiently.
- Have the ability to stand, bend and lift merchandise for restocking, including standing and walking for long hours.
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment to ensure company and government safety requirements are met.
- Supporting opening and closing store activities during opening/closing shifts.
- Follow all company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, including lottery and tobacco sales and ensure proper identification.
- Completes other duties and special assignments as directed by the manager.
- Model excellent patient care and customer service by respecting and enthusiastically engaging with customers and patients, including offering assistance, directing to products and merchandise, and referring appropriate questions concerning over the counter medications to the pharmacist or nurse.
Physical Requirements:
- Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Ability to bend and kneel.
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
- Visual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
