About the Position
As a Dietary Aide, your primary responsibilities will be to prepare and serve food, as well as setting up dining areas and tables in preparation for meal service.
Shift: 11am to 7pm, rotating weekends and holidays ($2.00/hour shift differential from 3pm to 7pm, plus an additional $1.50/hour on weekends)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up dining room and tables to ensure a clean and attractive appearance.
- Transports food and drink items to satellite kitchens as directed.
- Serves food and drink items timely in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Respectful of resident food and drink preferences.
- Offers alternate food and/or drink items to residents as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of foods as needed.
- Clears tables after meal service and ensures tables are cleaned and reset.
- Washes dishes, silverware, and cookware and stores items.
- Follows all safety and sanitation standards and practices
- Follows established policy for handling of leftover food items.
- Ensures cleanliness of work areas.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to residents.
- Prior food service experience preferred.
