What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Lebo's- Dance, Western & Family Shoe Store?
Objective: Increase sales and traffic to stores and website.
Bring all advertising in house and eliminate agencies.
Primary Job Functions:
- Ad Coordination – Work with buyers and operations to coordinate weekly/yearly advertising content.
- Create email marketing, social posts and campaigns
- Ad Layout and Design – (Proof Ads, Write copy)
- Media Buyer – Negotiate Contracts and Schedule Ads
- Maintain Ad budget plan, record actual expenses and credits.
- Special Events Coordinator – ie.. Grand Openings, Moving Sale, Southern Women’s Show, etc.
- Track results of weekly Ads
- Screen solicitations
- Vendor proposals for co-op funds and extra marketing dollars.
- Submit co-op claims for credit and track collection.
- Proof invoices for accuracy.
- Ensure stores operations are aware of advertising schedule.
- Organize filing system on ad history, directory, etc.
- Monitor Lebo’s mailing list database used for direct mailers, Scrub data for duplications, inaccuracy, etc.
- Oversee loyal customer, gift card program
- In store signage, POP, create signs to support weekly promotions. Coordinate and contact vendors for POP update and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate gift with purchase programs
- lebos.com marketing – contact vendors/brands for store locator accuracy. Make sure all ads are supported on Lebos.com
- Contact local businesses for group sales. Hospitals, colleges, factories, etc.
- Needs to know how to use design programs like photoshop and canva
- Be at all company promotions and events in order to take pictures and videos
- Review results of marketing plan in order to improve efficiency
