We are open seven days a week and have become the place for your weekend brunch. We focus on finding gourmet ingredients, carefully curated and fresh. These ingredients make every item on our menu taste fresh and flavorful.
Crema Gourmet Espresso Bars have locations in Coral Gables, Davie, Downtown Doral, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, and Hallandale, and seven new locations are opening this year.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Cafe Team Leader. As the “Team Leader”, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our cafe, leading a team of enthusiastic individuals, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
We are looking for an individual with customer service and on-the-job training experience. The best baristas work well in a team environment and are comfortable working long hours on their feet. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and lead a team of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and cashiers. Provide clear instructions, delegate tasks, and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high service standards.
- Train and coach team members to provide friendly and efficient service to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction, in the absence of a manager.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Conduct training sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent) is required. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and interact with customers.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
- Solid understanding of customer service and cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, and health and safety protocols.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
