What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Service Representative (RSR) position at Lechner Services?
The Route Service Representative is the face of Lechner Services. The ideal candidate will be extremely independent, ambitious, and success-driven. This is a fast-paced customer facing position, that has individuals riding on a truck, delivering and picking up products and providing service to diverse and dynamic businesses. The representative will be responsible for building, meeting, and exceeding customer satisfaction while independently managing and growing their daily route.
Products may include uniforms, towels, mops, mats and restroom supplies. The representative will build rapport and provide unmatched customer service to all accounts. Which may include adding additional products and services while controlling inventories.

Essential job functions:
- Safely complete daily servicing of all clients in company provided vehicle
- Build strong relationships and open lines of communication with our customers
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and professional route
- Cross-sell additional Lechner products and services
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and business development skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an intermittent basis without assistance
- Basic PC proficiency
Work experience, requirements, and education:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- experience in route-based service a plus
- 1 -3 years in customer service, sales, or equivalent training
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver license, clean driving record
- Ability to obtain applicable DOT Medical Card
