The candidate is responsible for selling after-care services for our instrumentation and developing new opportunities. The candidate should have a good understanding of Separation Science products such as GC/MS, and good communication. Position Responsibilities
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge
- Provide field support to LECO Sales engineers, assisting the team with order processing, customer inquiries, and product information
- Responsible for managing Service Contracts and Consumable sales for new and existing customers
- Promoting and selling other service products such as Applications training and software add ons.
- Ability to project and provide quarterly sales report on Service contracts, Training, Software and consumables.
- Effectively communicate the value of Service Contracts to end users and sell Service Contracts after point of sale to new and existing customers
- Build relationships with current customers and potential customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Communicating with customers to gain feedback on instrumentation after sale and after service
- Potential travel to Trade Shows and trips with Sales Engineers
- Handle documentation, contracts, and other sales-related administrative tasks
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing updates on orders, resolving issues, and addressing inquiries
- Maintain an existing database of past instruments and details of current state
- Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and tracking.
- Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and adapt product capabilities to customer’s needs where applicable
- Minimum* of bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences; background in analytical chemistry a plus.
- Special consideration for recent graduates is a possibility depending on skills and depth of knowledge on relevant technology.
