Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the internal office to support field operations.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring staff, promoting best practices and business development.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Coordinates assignments considering an individual's career goals and the needs of the business
- Monitor and develop staff performance to include performance evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, and assigning work
- Provide required training of new employees
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant electric distribution operations experience working with electric utilities equivalent.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related discipline with 2 years of relative experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively vertically and horizontally within the organization through written and verbal methods to ensure all procedures, values, and key issues are clearly understood and adhered to.
- Ability to innovatively address problem solving and managerial issues within a team environment. Positively interacts with other supervisors on the team to help resolve daily operational problems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to utilize a personal vehicle, as customer-related travel is anticipated (Job-related travel will be reimbursed at IRS-approved rates); Candidates must possess a valid US driver's license.
- Willingness to perform both field and office work; Ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Previous experience in the construction and/or utilities preferred
- PMP certification preferred
