What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Legal Assistant position at Lecour Law, P.C.?
The first introduction to all clients and potential clients to Lecour Law, P.C. Must engage all visitors/phone calls with professionalism and compassion.
General Responsibilities
- Greets visitors/callers and obtain name and other pertinent information, notifying appropriate individuals of visitor's arrival.
- Answers and routes calls, as necessary, to appropriate individuals.
- Accurately takes and delivers messages.
- Schedules and makes appointments.
- Confirms calendar appointments and coordinate scheduling when necessary.
- Maintains log of all calls requiring further action.
- Accepts and signs for packages and notifies addressee of package arrival.
- Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks.
- Maintains clean and orderly reception area.
- Retrieves, sorts, scans and delivers mail.
- Track expenses where necessary.
- Manage form/fax/copy requests.
- Notarize documents (once licensed) and/or direct to licensed notaries.
- Draft basic legal documents.
