We are seeking an experienced Director of Fabrication and Quality Control to lead our fabrication team and ensure all products meet the highest quality standards. This role combines strategic oversight, hands-on technical project management, and leadership to drive operational excellence and maintain compliance with stringent quality control processes.
It is a requirement to hold an active Electrical Contractor’s license for this position. Candidates without this license will not be considered.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing leadership, a proven track record of managing teams, and expertise in delivering high-quality technical projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication Oversight:
- Manage and optimize fabrication workflows, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and project deadlines.
- Oversee equipment, tools, and materials, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues to maintain seamless production.
- Technical Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor fabrication projects, ensuring alignment with design requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, and Procurement, to drive project success.
- Provide clear updates on project progress and proactively address challenges.
- Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all products meet company standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and integrate best practices into quality management systems.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled fabrication technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Ensure proper resource allocation to meet production goals effectively.
- Field Support:
- Be available to travel to the field as needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical or electrical issues.
- Act as the go-to expert for complex fabrication or electrical challenges in both production and field settings.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in a fabrication or manufacturing leadership role, with strong technical project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Licensing and Certifications:
- Must hold an active EC license (required).
- Additional certifications or technical training in fabrication, manufacturing, or quality management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, fabrication techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or technical training is preferred.
