Dispatcher

Overview
LED Trucking Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented Dispatcher to direct the day-to-day sales and route operations and report to the Dispatch Managers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient fleet management. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of logistics, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Actively hiring multiple candidates in Sacramento, CA and Roebuck, SC.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination, scheduling, planning, and dispatching customer freight shipments
• Develops the business by establishing contracts for a repeat pipeline of business
• Takes client calls and communicates with drivers and Dispatch Managers as appropriate
• Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
• May assign trips to drivers to assure adequate disbursement of trips between all assigned routes
• Monitors daily system performance and logs sales
• Participates in analysis and review of operating performance
• Responsible for influencing positive customer morale and quality customer service
• All other duties, as assigned

Talent Requirements

• 2 years of Freight Dispatching experience required
• 2 year of Customer Service experience is preferred
• Required to have consolidation and partials experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate a high customer service commitment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Demonstrate excellent time-management skills, analytical skills, and technical expertise
• Strong negotiating skills and sales' mindset/approach
• Knowledge of specific cooperation with own operators and truck drivers
• Knowledge of DAT and Truckstop platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Russian/Ukrainian preferred, but not required
