Accounting Clerk
Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk! You will perform an assortment of tasks, including retrieving payments from various locations, posting payments, and maintaining electronic records. This full-time, direct-hire role requires a valid driver’s license and at least one year of office experience.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk
- Retrieve, open, stamp, and sort incoming checks
- Enter and post checks into internal software system
- Scan documents
- Assist with budgeting, month end close, and reconciliations
- Create and maintain electronic client accounts
- Provide additional support as assigned
Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of office experience; accounting clerical experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Highly organized
- Good communication skills
