Our service offerings draw on our expertise, relationships, and resources, all of which enable us to exceed client expectations and ultimately, deliver results.We are looking for an Assistant to support our Content team on campaigns for films, series and podcasts. The Assistant will work closely with Publicists on client projects and will support the team with administrative tasks and in all aspects of executing client requests. The Assistant will be responsible for multitasking on several clients simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAdministrative duties, including managing a high volume of emails and calls, coordinating meetings and schedules, expense reports, travel etc.Track media coverage and service clients with media breaks on a regular basisAssist with writing and editing internal and external materialsDistribute press releases electronically and assist with media outreach (including utilizing email distribution software, i.e. Constant Contact, to create and distribute materials)Coordinate details for client press events, screenings, photos shoots, festivals and premieres including travel and groomingProcess client requests in a timely mannerCover screenings, premieres, press days and other PR events for clients (some of these may occur after hours or on weekends)Maintain and update databases such as press contact lists and detailed calendarsUpload and maintain client files using Google Drive and distribute to the team when neededCreate and deliver agendas for recurring client meetingsConduct research to support client planning and strategyLiaise with MPAA and other industry organizationsStay current with dynamic media environment (new websites, publications, tv shows, podcasts)And other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Experience working at a PR agency, film distributor, tv network or other entertainment companyBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or journalism preferredSolid proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointSolid proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google SlidesProficiency with Constant Contact (database management) is a plusHighly organizedExceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communications skillsProactive and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high volume, fast-paced environmentSolid problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detailSelf-starter with the ability to multitaskReliable : meets deadlines, prioritizes well, and has a high sense of urgencySolid writing and proofreading skillsProfessional, confident and mature demeanorAble to anticipate needs of team members and clientsStrong interest in all aspects of the entertainment industryADDITIONAL This is a hybrid position requiring 3 - 4 days a week in-officeAvailability to work some evenings and weekends for event coverage is requiredThe Lede Company is an equal opportunity employer.
