What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Ledgent Finance & Accounting?
-Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and credit card payable accounts.
-Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
-Manage and maintain the general ledger (GL), ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
-Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
-Reconcile bank statements to verify transaction accuracy.
-Conduct data mining for financial reports and analysis.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 4 years experience
- Skilled in accounting, fix assets, month end close process, journal entries, GL account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accruals and financial statement - required
- Highly proficient with Excel Spreadsheets
- Good work stability
-Bilingual Spanish is a plus
