Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join their team in Connecticut. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including weekly check runs.
- Handle sales tax responsibilities, ensuring compliance with non-exempt and exempt tax requirements.
- Utilize strong Excel skills, including v-lookups and formula creation, to support financial analysis and reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Provide support for accounts receivable processes.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as v-lookups and formulas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, first shift.

Pay range: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.
