We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Lantana, Florida. This role offers advancement opportunities in a growing organization. The ideal candidate will oversee the financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices are in place.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare tax documents and ensure timely submission.
- Manage high volume reconciliations for accounts.
- Process purchase orders and manage payments efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records.
- Process payables and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Handle expense reporting and budget tracking.
- Process sales tax and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Maintain general ledgers and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 or more years of experience in bookkeeping or AP/AR.
- An associate's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
- This position requires working onsite in the office.
Required Work Hours
The position requires a full-time commitment, working Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
