Senior Revenue Accountant

Salary: $90,000 - $103,000 (DOE)
Role Overview:
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll work in a fast-paced and supportive environment collaborating with the accounting team and Operations.
This role will be responsible for recording revenue, GAAP compliance, revenue allocations, analysis, revenue reporting, and accounts receivable.
About The Role:
- You will actively participate in monthly and year-end close, including maintaining the general ledger, and preparation of journal entries.
- Managing the accounting commissions functions and preforming reconciliations, reports and accruals
- Be responsible for sending out daily invoices and perform customer collections and payment follow-up as needed
- Work with multiple teams across the organization to assist with deal review and resolve any revenue issues
- Review contracts and individual sales transactions for proper revenue recognition based on guidance under ASC 606 Software Revenue Recognition, and company's revenue recognition policies
- Responsible for processing and allocating payroll entries across business units
- Responsible for sales tax function and identifying new tax jurisdictions as company continues to grow
- You'll assist in the preparation of financial information for taxes, audits, regulatory agencies, and necessary stakeholders
- Partake in special projects and complete ad hoc tasks and research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 5 years of prior accounting experience
- MUST BE TECHNICALLY SAVVY WITH ACS 606
- Maxio/Sass Optics experience
- Sage Intacct highly preferred
- CPA preferred but not required
- Intermediate Excel knowledge; can manipulate large amounts of data, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, formulas, etc.
- Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
