What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Ledgent Finance & Accounting?
We're partnering with a fast-growing, dynamic organization to find a Senior Accountant who can step in during a maternity leave-now through the end of September. Support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities
Review the work of fellow Senior Accountants with a collaborative and constructive approach
Help implement and refine accounting processes and internal controls
Assist with technical accounting research and ensure US GAAP compliance

What You'll Bring:
6 years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
Strong understanding of US GAAP and ability to conduct technical research
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Hands-on experience with internal controls design and execution
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and the bigger picture
Bonus: experience with Workday or involvement in a pre-IPO environment
