Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team in downtown Denver. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the full-cycle accounting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position involves working closely with multiple departments to maintain financial records, generate reports, and contribute to the organization's overall financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full-cycle accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial activities are properly recorded and reported.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
- Work closely with various teams to collect and analyze financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years of accounting experience (experience in property management, retail, or real estate is a plus).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Appfolio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
