Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Dublin, CA
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will bring accounting expertise and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support our financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

• ERP System Management: Utilize and maintain the ERP system to streamline accounting processes, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management to assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized business environment.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification or progress toward certification.

• Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry.

• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting.
