Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant with proficiency in NetSuite to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting functions, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize NetSuite to process transactions, maintain records, and generate reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiencies within NetSuite.
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CPA candidacy is a plus.
