What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Developer III - Remote position at Ledgent Technology?
We are seeking candidates who are interested in a contract to hire position, which can be worked remotely. This position will be W2 contract with Roth Staffing, eventually converting to working full time for our client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write code and develop test automation in a Scrum-based environment
- Analyze story/task requirements and produce simple, maintainable code using OOP principles
- Collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to ensure efficient feature delivery
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent job experience
Experience:
- 5 years of development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- 1 years working in Agile or a related environment (preferred)
Technical Skills (Required):
- Strong experience with React.js and related web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Proficiency in developing .NET APIs using .NET Core and object-oriented design
- Experience building continuous integration pipelines (TeamCity or Azure DevOps preferred)
- Passion for and experience in test automation
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ORMs
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
