Job Title: Business Consultant - D365 Business Central Implementation

Location: Vancouver, WA (100% onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary (through the end of the year), with potential for full-time conversion

Compensation: Flexible based on experience

MUST currently reside within 30 miles of Vancouver, WA - no relocation considered at this time

Position Overview

Our client in Vancouver, WA, is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to lead their ERP implementation project, transitioning from D365 NAV to D365 Business Central. This temporary role is expected to run through the end of the year, with the possibility of full-time conversion for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the D365 Business Central implementation project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and optimize business processes.
• Develop and execute testing scripts to validate system functionality and ensure user acceptance.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for a seamless migration process.
• Assist with training, documentation, and change management related to the new ERP system.
• Support inventory distribution and scale document workflows, particularly with shipping and receiving teams.
• Occasionally travel to the client's Portland facility, as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must-have: Hands-on experience with D365 Business Central and ERP implementation.
• Strong expertise in business process analysis and optimization.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and distribution environments preferred.
• Proven experience creating and executing testing scripts for ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software.
