Position Overview
The D365 Developer will oversee the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) for our oil and gas servicing company. This individual will manage the IT operations, ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency, while also driving the strategic adoption and successful deployment of the ERP system to optimize business processes.
ERP Implementation and Support (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
- Lead and coordinate the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system specifications for Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party consultants involved in the ERP implementation.
- Provide strategic direction for the integration of Dynamics 365 with existing IT systems (e.g., accounting, inventory, HR).
- Oversee system testing, training, and deployment of Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Establish and oversee ongoing support processes post-implementation, ensuring the system is effectively maintained, upgraded, and continuously optimized.
- Serve as the internal expert on Dynamics 365 F&O, providing troubleshooting support and guidance to business users.
Strategic Leadership and Team Management
- Develop and execute the IT department's strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals, identifying opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives support operational goals and drive efficiency across departments.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Work Experience can be substituted as well as relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365).
- Experience:
- Proven experience managing the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or similar ERP systems in a large-scale, complex business environment.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar sectors is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects, particularly in ERP system deployments.

Working Conditions
