We are hiring an IT Field Engineer to start immediately for a Direct Hire position.
- The Headquarter is in Brea, CA
- This person can be remote anywhere, but will be traveling extensively, nationally, to various compny sites
- The travel is fully covered or reiumbursed by the company
- Up to 110k / year (may be flexible depending on the level of experience)
The IT Infrastructure Field Technician / Engineer will travel to new sites, expansions and relocations of offices to take care of network connections, bull pen desks, video walls, etc. They are responsible for architecting, planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of corporate hardware, software and related infrastructure including cloud infrastructure. This includes the creation of plans for platform functionality, stability, data consistency, availability, performance and security of systems aligned with the Company's priorities and enabling its employees to do their work effectively. The role requires diagnosing and resolving performance issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of IT infrastructure. Expected to lead troubleshooting sessions to recover from outages and drive engineers to complete root cause analysis, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems as well as connectivity issues. They will also be accountable for planning updates and maintenance of hardware and software resources to mitigate limitations and combat obsolescence.
