Jr. Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of facilities projects, including construction, renovations, expansions, and equipment installations, ensuring alignment with established timelines and budgets.
* Support the definition of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Help develop project schedules and timelines, monitoring resources and dependencies to ensure smooth project flow.
Project Monitoring and Reporting:
* Track project progress, milestones, and expenditures, assisting in regular updates to senior management and project sponsors.
* Identify potential project risks with guidance and support the implementation of mitigation strategies as needed.
* Prepare and assist in generating project reports to document key metrics, progress, and any issues encountered.
Intermediator between Corporate/US Region and Vendor:
* Coordinate and schedule meetings or calls between stakeholders to discuss project updates and any necessary adjustments.
* Ensure that vendor deliverables align with corporate and regional standards in terms of quality and compliance.
* Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including availability for meetings with Asia-based teams during night hours.
Post-Project Evaluation and Improvement:
* Participate in post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and lessons learned.
* Document insights and contribute to best practices for future projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.
Experience:
* Up to 3 years of experience in construction or facilities project management.
* Must be fluent in Mandarin or Taiwanese; candidates without language proficiency will not be considered.
* Willingness to participate in meetings with Asia-based employees, including night hours.
Skills and Competencies:
* Basic project management skills with exposure to project scheduling, budgeting, and tracking.
* Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on supporting project deadlines and objectives.
Working Conditions
This role may require occasional travel and flexible hours, including night meetings, to meet project demands.
